Canoeing and Kayaking
Alpenglow is pleased to offer our guests access to 2 canoes and 3 kayaks (May through October). Hug the 17 miles of shoreline or head straight out from the property to explore some of Lower Saranac Lake's 50 islands.  Be on the lookout for a Bald Eagle soaring over head!

Swimming
Featuring one of the only expansive sandy beaches on all of Lower Saranac Lake, Alpenglow is the perfect location for both children and adults to swim.  Relax on the level lawn or the beach, and then wade into the crystal clear and refreshing water. Children can splash around in water that gradually deepens from about 1 foot to 3 feet from the shoreline to the docks, while parents comfortably supervise from the lawn, or join in on the fun!

Water Skiing, Slalom, Wake Boarding, and Tubing
At 6 miles long and 2 miles wide, there is plenty of water to enjoy! No boat? The Saranac Marina offers lessons for beginners and tours for experienced riders.
