The LPOTC is home to four resident sports: Bobsled/Skeleton, Luge, Freestyle Ski, and Biathlon. Athletes from boxing, canoe and kayak, judo, rowing, synchronized swimming, taekwondo, team handball, water polo and wrestling also train frequently on site.

An eight-mile trip from the crossroads in Wilmington, the Whiteface Veterans Memorial Highway will give you access to the summit of the fifth highest mountain in the Adirondacks. The last five miles are the most spectacular as the road winds upward through a changing forest and an alpine summit environment. At the parking area, take a short hike or ride an underground elevator to the summit for a truly amazing 360-degee view of the surrounding lush wilderness.

Players follow the 9-hole course around the bottom sections of some favorite Whiteface ski trails during the summer.
